Our Final Accounts Statements begin with the Original Contract Sum, then we create a "road map" of all the formally instructed changes that have occurred during the course of the project, this then forms the basis of a detailed analysis of the Projects Commercial position.
Final Accounts Statements will take consideration of all changes in measurements, formal variations, as well as any disputes that have arisen during the course of the project whereby loss and expense claims may have occurred and or any Liquidated Damages that may have been assigned.
The process of arriving at an agreed Final Account figure can sometimes be a long and drawn out, that's why at at Construct it Consulting we are firm believers that it is best that both parties agree the cost of any changes at the time in which they happen. That way the potential for disagreements are mitigated and allows for positive relationships to be development, rather than allowing issues to fester which could be disruptive to the delivery of the project. The more that is agreed at the time means the easier the resolution discussions are at the end of a project.
We offer this service to Clients, Consultants, Contractors or Subcontractors, so if you are embroiled in a protracted final account let us take an independent view of the issues and try and help close out your Final Account.
