Employers Agent

Construct it Consulting often act as the employer’s agent.  This in simple terms is when we acts on behalf of the employer on all matters relating to the construction project, (subject to any expressly stated responsibility that the employer may want to retain under their authority).  As employer’s agent, any action we take on behalf of the employer is to the employer’s benefit, additionally we balance this with also acting impartiality when it comes to certification and payments.  

The employer’s agent’s duties are summarised in it simplistic form as receiving and issuing: 

• applications 

• consents 

• instructions 

• notices 

• requests or 

• statements 

and otherwise to act for the employer to manage and co-ordinate the processes concerned with a project and where the contract describes.
